Workshops
Workshops are spaces for learning, creativity, and exchange that improve quality of life, foster communication, and promote social participation.
In these spaces, coexistence, respect for diversity, and the development of social and emotional skills are encouraged. Additionally, artistic expression and environmental awareness are promoted.
How to Make a Tlanchana with the Technique of Paper Mâché
A paper mâché workshop was held at the Escuela Secundaria Mártires del Río Blanco and Telesecundaria Agustín Yáñez, where participants learned this popular Mexican tradition of creating three-dimensional figures with recycled materials.
During the workshop, topics like the difference between the mermaid and the Tlanchana were explored, and participants created a Tlanchana sculpture, which is now exhibited at the Community Cultural Center.
This artwork served as a reference for designing a container located in the lagoon.
